Siabhon

Tell us a little about yourself:
Hey! My name is Siabhon Ayuso. I am from Tacoma Washington and I am 35yrs old. I have three children who are all taller than me lol. My kids and I lived in Texas for 9 years and have been back in the PNW for the last 4 1/2. Since back I have been involved in my community by becoming the Precinct Committees Officer (PCO) for the 29th Legislative District (LD), participated in women and civil rights marches, volunteered to help local candidates in there campaigns and have ran for Lakewood City Council. I've had the pleasure of meeting some amazing people along the way and have a few projects I'm working on. I am excited for this new chapter of my life and eager to learn and help.

Glenda

Tell us a little about yourself:
My name is Glenda Agudong Duldulao. Homes are Sarrat, Ilocos Norte of the Philippines; Kalihi, Oahu in the Hawaiian Islands; and Tacoma, WA, land of the Puyallup Tribe. Being raised in the Ilokano culture in Native Hawaiian land has influenced the ways that I live my life, guided by indigenous ways of being, knowing, and relating.
My praxis is about co-creating spaces where people can come together, usually over soul-filled food, to remember and share life stories while uncovering stories and connections to each other and to the land that we are on. These stories are of our life, our ancestors, our traumas, our struggles, experiences of displacement, belonging, and resilience. It is in these spaces that we create windows of relationality that allows us re-spect each other’s humanity and move towards building a community that allows us to live our full selves. Her current projects are: A Virtual Gathering: Talk Story and Healing (A monthly virtual gathering of API identifying Puyallup Watershed residents)

Austin

Tell us a little about yourself:
I'm a multiracial (Japanese and European-American descent) artist, facilitator, and graduate student born and raised on Coast Salish land. I care deeply about helping center BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) in public sector spaces and processes, and about making local/state government more accessible and accountable to marginalized communities. Synthesis and sensitivity are my twin superpowers, and I show love through holding space and making art. <3
Are you working on any projects?I am working on "Facilitating for Racial Justice" with the phenomenal Zayda Wilson. Together we are hosting series of trainings for womxn of color on how to facilitate and develop a business around racial equity work.
